Last 2 months production of the '96's had the stronger input shaft too but apparently it isn't that much stronger to be bullet proof.

Want to thank Receiver for a great transaction. Picked up the car on July 3rd and drove it back to the US. What a fun drive!!! Did have a few minutes of panic. Stopped at a gas station for to top off before hitting the border. Got back in the car and nothing. I'm thinking there is no way this car can break down on the ride home. few minutes on the iPhone and found the transponder explanation.

Anyway if anyone is reading this in the future I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from Sean. Car was well maintained with excellent records. I'll take a 60k well documented car over a 30k question mark everyday.

Glad you enjoyed your ride home Tom. Sorry, I forgot to mention the transponder. I ll re emphasize your point about maintenance records. You can buy all the low mileage cars you want and PPi 's until you are blue in the face but nothing replaces a well documented service history for these cars.
