Default Tire size question for my wheels

I had a set of very special rims made for my 1997 turbo.

Some of the details are:

The front magnesium centers were built into 8.5" front wheels with 1.25" outer rims and 7" inner rims.

The rear wheels with magnesium centers were made 11.25" and used 2.75" rear outer rims, and 8.25" inner rims.

The centers for the wheels are painted a steel gray.

I wanted to go with Michelin tires and I was thinking of:

Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 with the sizes 235/40 and 315/30 for the front/rear setup.

The car is lowered to ROW using an M030 setup.

Would these tire sizes present any problems?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Should be no problems unless your offsets are weird. Pictures?

If you look at Nurburger's Arena Red they will look strikingly similar...I loved the look of his wheels I had them copied

You had these built? Do you mind sharing how one could acquire, not to match yours, is like a satin silver center.

Thanks

Check on the diameter differential on the tyres you chose. If you want to mauintain a healthy viscous coupler, the differential should be about stock, which has the rear about 0.5 inch smaller than front.

@ ScottMellor good point which was also noted by Jim Dorociak, who built the wheels. I intend to maintain the AWD aspect of the turbo and as such would want the diameter differential on the tires to be about stock .

@ rlme36 Yes, I had them built, in terms of the color of the centers it really can be any color you want given the custom nature of this wheels. The other variable is the builders ability to acquire all the pieces to construct what his clients contract for.

I've Ran many combos & 235's & 315's are perfect AWD ( stock 996 gt2 sizes), depending on Brand, there's a slight height in rear .2,.3'', but rears wear faster, so no worries, PS2's are Expensive, but Best out there for street.

Wow, very nice. PS2's are excellent. Yoko AD08 would be great, too, little less coin, if they make that size. PS2's will be better in the rain, but you should not be driving in the rain anyways.

The ps2s you mention in those size are not optimal because the fronts are slightly smaller than the rear. You probably would not notice much problem on the street though.

As for driving in the rain: It's not made out of sugar!

I would shy away from those tyres based on the fronts being
so much larger than the rears. For the vc to be properly loaded the rears should start off slightly smaller than the fronts. As the rears wear the cv preload will slightly increase. If you start off with the rears larger the pre load will vary down as the rears wear towards the size of the fronts. I would not want the rears larger than the fronts for consistant optimal handling.

What am I missing?

The overall diameter for the fronts are 25.4" and the rear 25.5" and therefore smaller in diameter aren't they?

Stock sizes, the rear are supposed to be smaller/start out a touch smaller to load the vc and have the vc/front drive work.
