Default Back in the market...

It's been about 5 years now since I sold my 1997 Turbo S and now after experiencing MB and BMW, I'm ready to return to the Porsches! Nothing came close to the exhilarating experience of owning/driving a TTS, although the MB CLK Black Series gave it a pretty good run for its money.

So if anyone knows of a clean, low mileage (under 40,000), preferable silver 1997 Turbo (not an S), please let me know.

Much appreciated.
Todd

Todd!!! Glad to hear you're getting back in the saddle! Knew you couldn't stay away for long. I'll keep my eye out for some silver 993tt's. Been too long since we've gone on a drive.

Not that 28K is a lot of mileage, $85K+ is pretty good coin........

Thanks All, I'd love to purchase this one
http://www.canepacollection.com/deta...d-9923236.html

But at an asking pricing of $155,000, I can find a TTS with 20K plus mileage. I've spoken with the previous owner, great guy and a huge Porsche enthusiast, I trust him and would buy this car with confidence, but not even close to the asking.

Campy, thanks, yes it was a great TTS, he’s got some amazing cars.

I saw the Blk GT, great car but not for me.

Todd

Kevin, hope to be heading your way in a TT this time ...

Todd,
That Andial sounds pretty legit. 560hp and 640 ft/lbs of twist. Wow...

Yes it is the same car.
Hmm.
Former Jochen Andial certified 3.8 twin-plug asking $195K last month.
Now Canepa's single-plug 3.8, non-certified, asking $155.

Don't tell my wife!

Default 3.8

Todd, I spoke to you several times, you could of had it? I had a # I wanted (what I paid for it) called Canepa out of the blue & he paid it, he had a Seinfeld speedster that Andial did a NA 3.8 & got a a lot $$ for it years ago, so he saw the potential, Scott & I discussed it & agree this one is sort of a Black Sheep, but a Pretty nice one.

Not sure why those #'s are on site, car did around 440HP & 490TRQ at wheels on 91, so around, which makes it mid 500's HP & high 500's TRQ at crank, depending on what drive train loss you go on for 993TT's. Race gas add another 25 & 40 easy.

Car ran like a Bat outta hell, weekend before I sold it, a GTR wanted to go, not once, but twice, got at least two car lengths on him inside an 1/8th of a mile, the TRQ on car was Great.

Hi Todd. I haven't actively started selling my 993 turbo, but here are the details. Perhaps, other members can chime in and let me know what they feel I should ask for a price.

1996 993 Turbo
24k miles
Polar Silver on Flamenco Red
Sport Seats
Factory "signature" carbon fiber dash, e brake, and shift ****
Leather gauge rings
996 Turbo Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel
996 CD Player with ipod cable located in ashtray
Bilstein PSS10s
Billet diverter valves (I worried the Bosch would fail)
Fabspeed bypass pipes
Fabspeed air intake

I have all of the original parts, except for the diverter valves, if the buyer wants to return it to stock. Always garaged (of course) and maintained by Autobahn Performance in Peabody, MA.

PM or email me if interested. tim_brady at verizon dot net
