Speed Yellow, low mileage. Yum. Not a bad asking price for a Porsche dealership.

Out of curiosity, how desirable is speed yellow in a 993 compared to the other "standard colors" like black, silver and red?

I'd say strictly from a rarity and production number standpoint, very desirable. I think its stunning.

Yeah, like that color, but its certainly "in your face' - but it can make for a stunning car.

Price is good as well - what's the catch?

I would say the "catch" is the color. I like it but it is definitely in your face and not for everyone. I think someone making an investment in a 993 TT, and that is most people these days, want something that is safe from a color and options perspective. I don't see too many people buying this car and using it as a DD or regular track toy. I may be totally full of S*$! but the color was my "concern".

I just sold my car which is white with metropol blue. I found the combination stunning and less stark than black with white but had pushback from a number of buyers. A few said, "if it was a black interior I would buy it".....

Someone will snap this car up very soon and Prestige has a reputation of leaving cars posted months after they sell just to drive inbound calls. The GM is a total douche that screwed me on my first P-car 10 years ago and I will never do business with them for that reason.

Mike

I have had issues with them as well.

But as to the color, it would really be about personal preference I would think.

Tim

PS: I would have loved your TT

They offered it to a Denver friend of mine who went to see it when they first got it for $74K. Quite a good deal IMHO ...

I'm not the same opinion, AC 911 should not be in boring colors

You have a great looking 996TT. I love the color combination of white and blue. I guess I like rare things, but to point where it is too much (like purple or light lime green)! My next car would be a SY, gray or blue TT.
