yeah it will be pretty cool. I hope

I know the last time I drove it was pretty cool. Many moons ago

Unfortunately it needs new tires from sitting in the shop for two years.

thanks everyone. I'll check out the sumitomo prices. Good idea. But its still a shame the ones on there are a good tread depth waste now.

Kumho. Cheap. Very good.

Yoko AD08's. Great. Cheaper than Michelin.

Good progress, keep us posted!

BTW, I never understood the thoughts of throwing out tires because they are few years old - is it because they are flat spotted? If you are racing the car or autobahning, sure, but to take a car out on the public streets, they should be fine. If they are the original tires that are 15 years old, Ok I see that, but not ones that are five years old... some wisdom seems to be 6-10 years, I would prefer to keep it at the upper end of that range (cheap side kicking in..).

My cynical side says don't forget its often the tire companies saying that that are both trying to SELL tires and limit liabilities. It very rare to see an age related failure, and I personally never seen one. I am sure I will be getting the old "safety is priceless" replies soon ....

Well, it had to be taken off the lift apparently to finish some other car tha was less detailed. No big deal. Few hours of setback. I still haven't had the chance to make it by to see it. I've been busy with these dang machines.

The tires are most likely flat spotted. Sitting on the concrete for 22 months.
