I'm dealing with some fitment issues and odd gaps with the hood and euro s style bumper on my car. There is too much gap on the front AND the rear of the hood. Mostly too much in the front between the bumper seal and hood. I looked hard but couldn't find any part # on my hood.
Does anyone know if there is a # on it and where I should look? I'm wondering if it's OEM.
Thanks

I should have said that the sticker is there where you'd expect it. With a couple of the corners coming up just a little bit I thought it possible that it was put on a new after market hood. It's a steel hood and all, just seems to have extra room seemingly on all sides.

I can see on the hinges that it has been moved forward by as much as 1/8 of an inch. Even still, there's too much space between the hood and bumper. Too much too on the sides and uneven at some of the corners.

A vandal in Las Vegas struck the hood of my 993tt with a single blow. This stretched the metal to a point that negated a perfect repair. A new hood was ordered from Porsche and it fits perfectly. Cost $2,486. The part number on my invoice is 993-511-010-GRV. I saved the old hood.

Yeah, for the life of me I couldn't find any.
Hey Ian, how is that roll cage working out. I hope that it went in ok. Have you had any luck getting on that amazing track near you?
