Well done. I used much more prybar to get the front diff out. It was like giving birth to get that SOB out. At least you had a lift. I do not reccomend doing this on jackstands.

Craig and Dave, I studied your posts/threads before hand -thanx. Didn't quite understand the shift box thing until I was looking at the parts and didn't know that the top half of the box is already in the car. I didn't think I could fit a flat tunnel cover using the welded in nuts we used without making the box shorter vertically (or lowering the cover with washers like Craig did). Cutting out the centre section out and bending it in seemed to the trick. - great fun...

Craig - why did you go back to 4wd?
