Been looking at some of the numbers, a quick question:
On Page 190 - 1997 Turbo numbers.
If you look at C02 (America) there are 739 pieces for (1997 Turbo NA) and 180 for (1997 Turbo NA) - what are the differences between these two numbers since they have the same column header?
Cheers,
Mike

Hello Mike,
that was a good question! I think that I found the solution on page 189. Here we find 182 "Turbo S" USA, and on page 190 you can see that 180 were delivered to America and 2 to Canada. So I think that the "s" is missing above?
What do you think?

I think you right - it also aligns with P192 for the 98's with the same sort of table =-> the similar column says "S".
How do we get a hold of the author to confirm?
Cheers,
Mike

I hope that you will like them!
By the way - Porsche Zentrum Inntal/Germany sold an original 993 Turbo Convertible in 2012, but they did not tell me the price! I think it should be one of the rarest cars Porsche ever built!

Unbelievable! Some books need 5 days from Germany to Canada or the US, few books need 2 weeks! But they are all shipped by DHL/Airmail + insurance is included!
Sorry,
Andreas

That is weird, I live in Vancouver as well, and received the book in 5 working days. However, I think mine was on the toss-em line, the package was torn and bashed up, and the edge of the book took a beating. I phoned the post office, there is a whole procedure to go through, so I decided it was not worth the hassle, bent back the dented edge on the book and put it under the tree. I think the insurance is only good if it gets really damaged or lost.
Is there a tracking number for Basal Skull to check where it book is?
Cheers,
Mike

Received my copy with stubbed corners & marks on the cover.
The graphic design, layout and detail is quite good, though I can't say that I'm all that impressed with the images. Didn't see much that I haven't seen before elsewhere (except for the odd picture of the Ford Capri...??).
Still a nice addition to the library.

Received mine last week only about a week after ordering and it's clean-no marks or worn edges-thanks Andreas for your help in ordering it.
Great coffee table book for us!
My only complaint is that there was no information on the truly last air-cooled 911, the 993 GT2 EVO with the twin-plug 3.8L motor that made 600+HP/720Nm, the car on which hyper-tuned 993TT's are based-including mine.

you can get a new copy, just mail me!
We have learned a lot in the last few months,
and use much more robust packages rigth now.
We did not expect this brutal mail system outside Europe.
A happy new year to verybody from Berlin,
Andreas
