Default Gas Tank Capacity

Could someone please confirm how may gallons it holds as I have found conflicting answers. Thanks.

Approx. 19 U.S. Gals./72 liters, including approx. 2.6 U.S. Gals/10 liters reserve.

There was also an optional 92liter (24.3 US gal) touring tank as well.

Yes....

or approx 24 U.S. gals/92 liters, including approx. 3.3 U.S. gals./12.5 liters reserve

Is the "reserve" just capacity that can't be seen on the gauge? Or is there some special way of using that extra capacity?

not sure all i know is that it takes about $65 premium to fill the tank

I don' think there is a special way of using that extra capacity, the owners manual says "including" in the capacity total.

When my tank gets low (fuel warning light comes on) I flip the display to "Miles Remaining until you get to push". I've gone as low as 12 miles remaining, but have never taken more than about 15 or 15.5 gallons. So there are 4 more gallons in there? I'll be darned.

bottom to top with pure 100 octane and it's still <$100...

funny thing was that when fuel prices spiked it was still the same price ~$6.50/USGal

might be cheaper now but Christine is up for the Winter
