Get a replacement remote used on ebay,
You can also update the switchblade key housing with the smaller 944 fob housing in various colors there if you like.
Read my latest posting "Remote Key Fob Programming made Easy REVISED!"
in the DYI submittal forum as to how to program your car to accept the remote:
I keep an extra key fob in the trunk as a back-up in case the one I use fails.
Haven’t had to use it yet.
