Hello fellas:

Finally got myself back to the States after 3 weeks oversea trip. What I did is repaint the calipers since they look pretty worn out. I also did another round of detailing. The first round of detail is pretty rush. Here the pics. Enjoy!!

Looks good!

So what did you use to repaint/spray them?

I re-did mine with G2 and was quite impressed with results.

Looks great! FYI on the calipers that are flaking like that...If you shoot them with wheel clear they look as good as new.

Great job to my other OCD friend

Did you have to bake the paint at all?

Chai,

I am glad that you are back and working on the car. Aren't you going to DRIVE it? LOL!

You are inspiring me to fix my calipers. I might clean them, hit them with clear and see what the results are. If they aren't good, I'll remove them and paint them correctly.

Have fun.

Thanks all for the kind words.

Patrick, I am working on them and my last project will be removing the front bumper and have it repaint. This will get the car to a very good condition. =)

As for the brake, I used DupliXXX (spray can) What I did is I sand it down and put 3 coats of paint and hit it with another 2 coats of Clear. It came out pretty good. I do not bake the calipers. What I did is that I wait between 30 minutes to apply another coat. I wait about 3 hours between the clear coat.

Since it is such a beautiful day in Northeast, I decided to take a few outdoor shot. Will post up the picture shortly =)

Thanks
