Feedback on DC motors would be nice too. I've seen several cars listed there, but didn't have any feedback to go on about who they are, or what quality they sell.

It's a nice car.... Pulls nicely too.... But there was a little smell of oil when I was in the car.... They told me that's normal because the car was sitting for a while.....is that normal? Pretty serious on the car

Stronger oil smells usually mean leaks of some kind - most of which are pretty benign. Minor oil smells usually accompany these cars.

He is full of it "because the car has been sitting: -> that means that its been sitting and had time to leak.

My Normal is leak-free.

:-)

Cheers,

Mike

One of the pics looks like a dent in the front hood to the right of the crest.
I believe the car sold on ebay, now it's back. Be sure there wasn't an issue of somekind.
Otherwise, looks good, priced right.

Nice looking car. Ask about the suspension. Probably not the original, which is potentially a good thing. But the rear seems to be sitting low compared to the front. It may just be the photos though.

arrgh!!! I just wrote a detailed post detailing that I had driven this car about a month ago and passed and why. Somehow I got logged out before posting it and lost my post!

I drove this car. IMHO its overpriced. The climate control doesn't work properly, sunroof seals are shot, pass side seat has stitching coming apart, dog hair in the carpet, sloppy detail job, all the exterior rubber seals are pretty sun damaged.

The test drive they allowed me to do was short and not at all long enough to test the vehicle to justify spending $65K

They have one invoice for repairs fairly recently when the clutch was done if I remember correctly but thats all.

Plus the pics make the car look black but its this sparkly dark brown that I didn"t care for.

I know this is my first post on this forum and its a bit harsh but I've been lurking here for a while and have been shopping for a 993TT for about 9 months and have seen or driven most of the cars on the west coast that have come up for sale through, craigslist, ebay, cars etc

Finally bought a nice silver 97 w/70K miles, good service history, good owner, good options package for $58.

thanks for the info Bill.....
i did a test drive they let me take it on the freeway and the surface street... pulled real nice, i didn't look at it as detailed as you did... but i thank you for it. i think in the arena for these cars, it's priced a little high, they were willing to part it for $59.5, but i have my white c4s i need to depart first before i make a purchase commitment. sound like you got a nice one for the price....... let's get some pics of it.....
