Funny there seems to be two schools of people for wheels - simple five spoke people and mesh people. i m not a mesh person so these wheels are not too much to my liking - although I like the fiske's better.

Criteria was to improve upon Fikse performance in 18s. The mesh design between the FM10s and E88s are close if not the same. E88s have motorsport racing history and it is lighter than the Fikses. It is also good to have black wheels to mix it up.

I did not want spacers to add additional weight therefore pickings are slim. E88s are known for leaks because it is a piece wheel. I may have to seal it this winter with silicone if it does not hold air reliably.

I went around and around with center caps for the past two weeks. I have decided to go naked for now until something catches my eye. Good read on various opinions with center caps and the different choices.

I prefer the Fikse's too...

E88's look best in gold on GT2's.

Having another set of wheels ain't so bad.

I think I would get the traditional black BBS centre caps, with silver font.

Or maybe the Porsche logo in black.

The reason why I am keeping both so they can swapped when I want different looks.

Finding a used set of 18" BBS E88s is rare at a good price. Many thanks to MarkD at FD Motorsports for helping me with the details...

Ruf's are nice and I love the look. They are close seconds with HREs in my book but I wanted the dish look to protect rim centers. Also, the challenge in finding them in 18" kept me away.

Here they are reborn. Rebuilt them yesterday afternoon at the wheel shop. Powdercoated to Porsche silver from black...

I think you should free yourself of the fikse wheels now that they are the same color. I may be able to help you get rid of those pesky things.
