Ok, a few questions, all familiar with the other guys on this list.
Smoking can happen from a variety of sources, and we need to eliminate other sources before we consider it worn turbos.
Cheers,
Mike
- Did the smoking start right after any servicing (like an oil change) or it just happened?
- Have you confirmed the filters were from Porsche before the last oil change (not mahle or mann, etc.)
- What is your oil level at with the car idling, full operating temperature, and on a level surface using the dipstick?
- Are there any backflow valves or U-bent scavage lines on the car? (if you do not know, don't worry)
- Does the smoke always continues now or just on startup?
- The turbos are original?
- Is there oil in the Intercooler or pressure hoses to the intercooler? If so, was any oil cleaned out after the last oil change?
- How long do you let the engine idle when parking the car?
