You should try to create a collage of the car to celebrate the 300k mark!

Just Awesome. Congratulations. If cars had feelings I bet yours would be the happiest 993tt of them all...as it sees the light of day and the feel of the road everyday. Makes my 70K miles seem like nothing.

Hi msw, more question about your dream High Mileage queen

Which mayor problem did you have with your car until 245k?

giorgio

s engine came w turbos

original clutch/turbos at 245K...when sold engine core...kevin at ultimate motorwerks rebuilt them and let me keep them so i have a spare set.

problems...hydraulic lifter collapse at 40k/90k (first guy put in wrong part?)...alternator, signal tree, accumulator, slave cylinder, fuel pump. most of expenses were windshields/tires/oil...:-)

What a great story. I've been following this car's history over the years here. How has it held up cosmetically - interior bits and paint?

Nice to see one that actually used their car. The 993 is built like a safe figuratively speaking. Simply having one in the garage gathering dust is just wasted in my opinion. As long as the car is maintained it will last for a very long time. MSW has proved that and so has many other people before him.

msw - were those pics after the detail job done by the one detailer that someone was complaining about, awhile back?

Car looks great!

Trin...

No...he detailed my fcar 575...Robert Willis/autoconcierge in Fremont...he is imo the best. The paint looks like glass.

I picked up a porter cable da buffer several months ago/meguiar's 105 compound then 205 polish...don't have enough courage to do fcar (black). Silver easy...it has plenty of sandblasting/chips in front...just don't show in photos.

Best

I think that is a fabulous F-car. What is your experience with it? That detail shop looks first class.
