Default Boost Hoses.

S Car Go (no affiliation) has started making silicon boost hoses for 993tt motors. Requires some engine tin modification but is supposed to eliminate problems seen with stock boost hoses. I'm going to install as soon as I get some free time. Will post how it goes.

Just got my Oct 2012 "Excellence" which has an "S-Car-Go" add that states "New 993 hose kits". Also sent an inquiry to them and crossing my fingers.

I used the contact info from the ad but still no response. Your fingers must be getting sore?

Rob King from S Car-Go called me today and said he has the hose kits available. They include the intercooler hoses, boost blow off valve hoses and idle air control valve hoses. I believe he said the kit is selling for $800.00 USD. He assured me that it will be the last hoses (for the applications listed above) that I would need to replace. Give them a call.

Pls post picks when you get these, in particular interested in what 'boost blow off valve hoses and idle air control valve hoses' are included since I don't think I've heard anyone ever having problems with those/not quite sure which hoses those are.

I've never had a problem with the other two applications either. Just kept loosing my passenger side intercooler hose. After T-bolt clamps and sterile cleaning inside anytime I take the intercooler off, I haven't had it blow off. I do want the better hoses to the intercooler because mine have taken a beating taking them on and off with the tight t-bolt clamps. From what Rob said it sounded as though they only come in the set. Not sure when I'll jump in for the whole kit, but if I do before someone else does I'll post pics.

I've had problems with my idle air control valve hose blowing off at the track. The factory rubber hose was hardened and a bit loose, and like most of the intake hoses on these cars, had a light film of oil on the inside. After replacing the hose with a new OEM part, I haven't had any problems.
