I agree. The car looks simply amazing esp with the black rims/yellow calipers and the stance is perfect. The sideskirts just seem a little cheesy compared to the class of the rest of the work IMHO. Congrats. Good luck w the Visa bill for this lot

Default Update....

OK, Since I pick up I still haven't really experienced the car... Ran through 4 full heat cycles on car over the past week or so (was told to do 3) and about 190 miles (all under 3K rpm and no boost) and went about 3/4 tank of gas. Correct cool down after each ride before shutting down etc etc...

Eager to give it a real drive.... seems to run a hell of a lot smoother then before, clutch feels great.... car sounds fantastic...

One ride was to the body shop to consult on removing side skirts...

Marcus makes some amazing carbon all; I know I need a better camera....

Default Trim gauge rings

A light mod, nice product, seller from the 993 Forum....nice finished look IMO. Easily can remove if I get tired of the look...1st pic shows just one on as I started to apply and install.

Looking great Mick! I've got something that will put your car over the top. Some E88's. 18x8.5 ET40 and 18x12 ET45. PM me if you are interested.

Pretty bad pic. Need to clean them up. Those are water spots, not blemishes.

Default Next project......

Well, met with the shop I want to have remove the Gambella side skirts..... after some references, knowing another RUF they worked on locally and going through the job top to bottom feel very good about them...

I want it done right, I don't want to be blending paint and clear in areas, not with this car as I have done so much just want it 100%...so of course this will be a bigger job then I had hoped for... Looks like we will paint oem rocker area once gambella are removed, paint all front and rear fenders... while I am there having them paint the 993TT rear wing I have (swapping out the Turbo S wing, selling if anyone interested) and also the rain gutters are shaved on this car (From what I hear a big job) about 10 years back and they did a real nice job, but a small area of paint not perfect on corner of a pillar area so just going paint roof and pillars etc etc...... I have always envisioned this car as it sits now but without the side skirts so excited for this step to be done....

Will keep all posted on the project...

Have you considered replacing the Gemballa sideskirts with RUF pieces?
