Default Market value of 993 Turbo S?

I noticed Sloan has two very low mileage Turbo S for sale but no price listed. Any idea on asking price and what the market value is on these cars? I believe both have less than 10k miles.

Way north of $150K. Call 'em and see. Post prices. This is what Mark should get if he's going to save a car....

There are prices listed on his spread in Excellence magazine. I think he is asking just shy of $200k.

If they are less than 10k mile examples and Sloan is selling them I would not at all be surprised at prices North of 200k.

Thanks for the feedback. The prices mentioned here were pretty accurate, definitely north of $150 for teh two at Sloan. I believe $200k.

I doubt that many if any cars have traded at 200k with 10k miles. I think those 10k miles cars have been more like 180k. That said, the prices have been rising consistently for 6 years or so and Sloan has played a part in continually setting the bar higher and higher.

100k is completely out of the question unless the car has a salvaged title or 80k miles. It is going to be 150k with 30k miles if all original and pristine. That is my guess.

It's the very limited production numbers, Oliver.

I get it, but its a standard turbo with what is essentially an option package.

Aside from telling people that its one of 158 or whatever, what do those limited production numbers get you?

Sure I can appreciate a rare car...but a turbo S is no big deal to me.

This is true. I just couldn't imagine ever wanting to pay that kinda money for that car.

The cars will have to go to europe to get that kind of money. He just sold a 1994 3.6T Flatnose to an arab collection for $205K.

Sadly enough... I must agree with Quad on this one. If I didn't know the market and was asked to hazard a guess, I'd say that a Turbo S would bring about $20k over a 1997 TT with the same mileage and condition.

What is driving these crazy prices? It seems that collectors are willing to pay anything to get cars for their collections. $100k Austin Healeys? $250k 356s? Cwazy.

Weissach in Vancouver has a really nice '97 Turbo S with 12K miles, pristine condition listed at $200K CAD. Nice car but price is nuts but obviously the market bares this level of pricing -- so all is fair .......
