Default Selling my K24/18g's

Decided upgrade to the Tial A28's since the rest of the engine is getting upgraded. I bought these turbos brand new from Todd @ protomotive a few years ago and they have probably 2,000 miles on them (mostly track use). These were brand new factory k24's that were then converted not used turbos that were sent out for the upgrade. I couldn't source any used ones at the time and ended up paying through the nose for these brand new ones! They just got back from a fresh rebuild so they are ready to rock. Have the "upgraded" (lol) 1 bar wastegates which were both replaced last Sept.

K24/18g's are an amazing value when compared to the newer stuff and are probably the best k24 based bang for your buck out there. If you have K24's already don't buy these and send yours into comp or blouche for the upgrade it will be about half the price. This is a solid package and Todd can hook you up with the fueling if you need it. I ran the standard 60lbs injectors, 044 pump, adjustable fpr and todds tune and it was great and doesn't break the bank.

A good place to research these turbos would be with the 996tt guys. There is a TON of data out there on these if you were curious to spend the time. If you have a 100% street car I would stick with a k16 hybrid like the 16/16g combo but if you track some these are certainly a fun option.

Asking $3k for the set

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics we were running late for dinner

I should buy these, as I need more HP to compensate for my poor driving skills. I figure the faster I get to 1,000 HP the better.

haha now you're catching on Bill! My laptimes were NOT acceptable so a full rebuild should make me feel better about myself

Ok, I have a stock 993TT, can I buy these and swap them out and I'm ready set go? I'm sure it's not that easy right?

I'll sell my black/black heated 993 Hardbacks to buy these.

Tony, it's not the easy. As Spartan stated in his post/ad, the potential buyer needs to have some other/additional tweaks done to take advantage of these higher performance turbos. Mainly fueling and tuning to to your DME/ECU.

Then with the added performance, you probably need to address other areas like oil cooling (aux oil cooler) to have the proer balance with performance and reliability.

Spartan's a great guy. He knows his stuff. I'm sure whoever buys these, will be properly guided and assisted by his knowledge and contacts.

You'll need at least a tune and if you want to run 1bar or more you will need fueling imo. Do you only drive your car on the street? If so I think the k16/16 is a better combo and you can probably have your current turbo's converted and get a tune for what these are selling for.

Good point! I'm ditching my 380mm brembo's for 380 Alcon motorsport calipers with enduro pads

We also made up rear hats that can use the parking brake and have Alcon 355 rotors that work with the stock calipers....

Shame on me, I knew it couldn't be that easy but wanted to believe anyhoo.

Sounds like a great deal for someone who has already committed and a bit farther down the slope. I appreciate the honesty from Spartan too.

When you drive flat-out, like I do, you don't need no stinking brakes.

Josh, I'll buy these turbos if you promise to cover them in gold foil for better heat transfer and cooling.
