Sumi HTRZIIIs flatspot rather quickly. It goes away after 10 miles but something one should be aware of. It is not an issue if driven daily or every other day.

PS2's are available in our stock size. Great tires. Expensive.

Super Sports are not available in our size yet.

I've had great success with my Kumho SPT's, but you will need to go slightly larger in the rear (295/30/18).

My next set of tires will be the Yoko AD08. Once Michelin makes the SS in my sizes (235/40 and 295/30) I'll get those.

Not sure where you got this opinion, but like Quadcammer, I have not seen this. Did it happen to you, and how bad was it? How long was the car parked? Tire pressures?

I'll bet dollars to donuts that your tire pressures are low. That's why they are flatspotting too easily. Try 36 front and 40-42 rear.

GREAT tyres, but very stiff sidewalls = minimal compliance

PS2
335r 265f to maintain VC health.
I get a FABULOUSLY compliant ride with these and PSS9 and GT2 uprights even though El Guapo is loooooooooowwwwww.
And it sticks like a burr on a Honey Badger.

I had them on my 996 for 4 years. Tire pressure always at factory if not higher. Search on the 996 board and you will find that I am not the only one with this experience. It is the best value tire I will admit.

They actually flatspot less at 38f and 44r. The kuhmos that came with my TT is much better.

don't run over 40lbs in the rear. the thing plows like an oxcart at those rear pressures.

34/36 or 35/37 work the best for me.

Just put a new set of Bridgestones on this week. Potenza S-04 Pole Position. Can't wait to try them out.

Be patient. Most tires need about 200-500 miles on 'em to scrub-in. You need to wear off the mold release before optimum traction is achieved. Be careful.
