Default Anyone near Maplewood Porsche in MN?

I bought a 993TT today. Its located at the Porsche dealership in Maplewood, MN.

Are there any RL that can check it out for me, walk around it, take some additional pics? If so, please PM me.

Thumbs up Congrats

I drove this car last Saturday and was going to pull the trigger tonight. Very nice car and drives very soild. Small paint bubble in the passenger side just below the windshield otherwise, very clean. There was a blue smoke coming out out from the left exhaust which should be fixed today (they ordered the needed spare part that should arrive today).

Congratulations! I think it is priced well.

Full disclosure: this is Tony (Spidey 993).

I just bought this 993TT, and had to re-up my membership since I archived the Spidey 993 login and chose a new login name.

I'm reaching out for some local assistance for some eyes on the car.

Hey Patrick.

He offered to fix the paint bubble, I said "don't touch it, send me pics first"
He said the left check valve was broke, so they are replacing it. I said "did it damage the turbos?"

Waiting to hear back now. It's a great price for this car with these miles and hardbacks, but I want to know they fixed these two issues.

Thank you brquebral

Check valves were not OEM on 993s. They were on 996 and later.

It is possible that check valves were added, but it is likely a sales guy who doesn't know what he is talking about. I would ask for pics of the turbos on the PPI.

Just got the pic on the bubble underneath windshield. It's small clustered.

He is offering to have Porsche fix on them. What do you think?

As we keep discussing on these "smoking turbo" threads, this is probably another case of the dreaded "Mahle Oil Filters". Have them inspect the filters for Porsche OEM and that they are not overtightened.

Will do Steve.

So far, the dealership and salesman have been A++. Every car has something, and they are willing to fix and are fixing everything to my specifications. Can't say enough positive things.

The paint bubble is extremely small, and they are willing to fix that too. Any thoughts on Porsche doing it or myself? Car is 100% original paint, and this is a extremely small area, but its nice to have it fixed.

Thanks!

Hey Tony, welcome back! Have Matt (Wagongotya) check out the car. He is a 993TT expert.
