Greetings from new Member seeking a 993TT but have some problems

No mine is burgundy with black stripe/off white pin stripe. I bought one new in 74' and it was my only source of transportation for 2 trs. Great bike...so great I had to have one again. I think the gas gauge you're referring to was on the sport and super sport in the early editions with fiberglass tanks.

I've had my 993tt for 2 weeks and I still can't stop looking into my garage just to get a glimpse of it. As cliched as it sounds...it is a classic design. The smoothness of the hip line get me every time I look at it...
Coming from a car that will have 3 times as much HP/TQ, I didn't buy this car for the speed fix. While it is fast, it is the rawness and driving involvement that I love. I can't rationalize it and I can't really verbalize it properly either.
Like the guys above have said, it checks off all the right boxes.
Drive one...more than one if you can. Good luck...

You have to drive some to decide - and the decision is very personal. You even have to drive a few TT's, they often have a different feel and are often very individual (its weird I know). Personally, now in my third decade of 911 ownership, the 993TT is the pinacle of the "old school" cars - and YOU need to figure out WHAT you are really looking for.
I believe you will know which one is when you drive it and see it. Even after that 20+ years of 911's, I still look back to checkout the car when I park it, and that is especially true with the 993 Turbo. The view from the rear is spectacular!!!
Cheers,
Mike
