Dave...the 1st and 3rd pic were done by a couple of amateur photographers in Tampa...they worked as a team and both were college students doing this on the side. They both do local events...
The 2nd pic was at a Dupont Registry Cars and Coffee event and was taken by a photographer I never met...I was just sent this pic from another NAGTROC member who happened to run across it on the internet...
Each one of the cars has gone through a build...even the Hyundai (mild stereo upgrade)...
Some more SL65 pics...3.5 month build

Some more E55 pics...6 month build

Some more GTR pics...10 months build

Some Chevrolet Suburban pics...2 month build

Hi Jon,
I recognized your handle from MBWorld. My daily driver is an 05SL600 with a ECU tune.
My toy is a 1996TT. I love each of these cars for their specific purposes.
The TT is a classic with the most beautiful 911 design of all time (IMHO). I have a bunch of mods on mine including upgraded turbos and exhaust. See my signature block for the full story.
The SL is an awesome boulevard cruiser which even my wife likes to drive and ride in!
Welcome to our little 993TT world. I think you will enjoy the car and this community
Hal

Gentlemen...thank you for the warm welcome. I hope to be a positive contributor to the site.
I plan to drive it in its current configuration for at least 3-4 months to get the feel of power and handling. Right now it has an FVD bypass and Bilstein PSS9 kit...
I'll revisit engine modifications and brakes after that personal break-in period.

Chad...glad to be here. It looks like if everything goes to plan (car is getting 30K service now)...I'll be flying to get the car and driving it back next Wednesday.
J
PS I didn't know Christmas was in March... I've gotten several crazy AMG's and a ludicrous GTR...but this old school air cooled Turbo brings up something in me that is so surreal and pure. I can't explain it properly...the kid in me is chomping at the bit.

Got home around 3pm and straight for a car wash...and a cigar! Pics are terrible off my cell phone...but you get the gyst of the greatness that is the 993tt...
PS THANK YOU JDhertz11...your garage was fantastic and the 993tt that you let me have is more than I could ever imagined. Like I texted you, you made a 45yr old guy feel 18 again.
