So, I saw the car.... And the passenger side quarter panel looks like there is some paint work. There are some "dots" in it that you can see in just the right light. I didn't bring the paint meter. It doesn't look like a 18k mile car

If this car were absolutely pristine, then I would say that the asking price is reasonable. Look at what the key dealers in this specialized market are getting for their cars and the prices will continue to rise for mint examples.

I was at Beverly Hills Porsche the other day and saw it. It shows well in person, but since it's "celebrity owned" (whatever) and at Beverly Hills Porsche, don't expect much of a break on price.
It wasn't pristine, but 18K miles is 18K miles. I'd rather have that car than the piggy 991 Hans Blowhard was trying to steer me to.

Stopped by to see this car on the night of 2/24, I was in BH looking at an RS4 Cab. The 993tt had been sold to a German collector, but the BHP sales guys were nice enough to take me to their storage bunker to show me the car. The storage bunker was amazing, an undeground garage full of brand new Porsches, Aston Martins, Bentleys, RRs, Porsches, and Ferraris. The 993tt was nice but not great, looked like the rear bumper had been resprayed (some fallout), some significant "rash" on the driver side front valence area and the radio was non-OE. They thought my tt with 43k was nicer, they particularily like the OE sport seats. They said there have significant collector demand for 993tts.
