Default 18K mile 97 FS @ BH dealer

1997 993 Turbo from Beverly Hills Porsche

Anyone familiar with this car. Looks like a very clean and very original car with less than 18K miles on the odometer. Only obvious mod is the radio.

I don't know. Is there more than 18k in the drivers seat? After market radio? Really? For 90k?
Still gorgeous though.

It's not a $90K car although in Beverly Hills, who knows, they might get something close. Drivers seat and shift **** look a little worked for an 18K mile car. Carfax & AutoCheck show very limited use by 1st owner in Hawaii, 300 miles/year for 1st 3 years. Then a California car with about 1500 miles to 3000 miles per year since.

$90 is going to be the rate (asking price) for a sub 20,000 mile car. In the 3rd picture, the bottom of the driver's side bumper looks scratched. Hard to tell from the photo.

With about 6-8 hours of concours quality cleaning, that interior will look very minty. It just needs some TLC. Plus, supple leather never photographs very well.

The sub 20k mile cars are always high priced. I'd offer 80 on this one.

Yup...

However, price point appears similar with what the usual suspects has on the market:

And that would be a good opening offer. I don't think it would sell for $80 but that's a good offer (if a serious buyer) to start the negotiating process. Then, depending out what the seller does, will help you to determine just how motivated of a seller they are.

We've seen a few samples on the market with mileage from 50k-80k miles in the $50k-$65k asking price range

So seeing samples with 20k miles (+/- 5k miles) with asking prices in the $70k-$90k doesn't appear out of line by comparison

However, I dare say if anyone scoops this up in the $60k-$70k range would be considered a great buy...

I don't really see that happening unless there is some rather serious problem with the car that has not yet be disclosed.

Another pet peeve of mine is the lack of floor mats. Are they worn through in 17k? If so, why not toss in a new set? What is the dealer's cost for a set of mats? Another question I would have is the "frunk" carpet. How often has the carpet been in and out of the car to leave it so wrinkled/ill fitted?
When I look at the speedometer, it looks slightly off level. When I had the odometer gear replaced in my car, I agonized over getting the speedometer installed just right. Maybe it's my eye.
I am splitting hairs, but shouldn't a $90k car be pristine?

Are those sub-woofers cut into each side of the rear seats?

For the right price, I would love to have this example in my garage.

So you're agreeing that at $60k-$70k, this would appear to be a great buy?

And this car will probably sell in the $70k-$90k range?

There are not many examples of 993 Twin Turbos with less than 20k miles in pristine condition. And yes IMHO, 60-70k for such an example would be more than a great buy, it would be a steal!
