Protomotive 16/16G's. I was just curious if anyone who has them recognized the compressor wheel.

It was a slow day and I was bored.

Chad, no disrespect. Sorry. In my defense, I did use the smiley face. Earlier this week I read a funny post from a Rennlister. Basically he said he bought a turbo (997.....more HP's) to make up for his poor driving skills. I thought it was funny.

WHat are the performance characteristics of these 16/16G compared to 16/24's or some other hybrid. anytime you have a 16 the idea is to get boost up faster.

Oh no worries I knew your comment was light hearted. And funny as well. Besides we all know Nissan GTR's were for driver's that lacked skill but want to go fast.

I believe boost should come on full at same RPM as stock but the intake side flows alot more air and thus handle higher boost levels cleanly. 1.0 on pump and 1.3 on race gas etc.

There are a number of guys in here that have this set-up and probably can answer this in a little more detail.

It is, but the 993tt lives at home with me! I kept an SPF Cobra in storage and the pic was taken on a day I went out to drive it.

Default 993TT

I have it, actually just did a couple hour run to Prescott & back, gets to 150mph+ pretty quick, pulls good, much better than my 16/24 set up I had on another car, giac tune was spikey, not as smooth. Had Todd @ Protomoto set for mainly our 91 crap gas here, running 17lbs psi w/ good afr. AWHP DYNO
