GLWS I think your timing is excellent and your proposed price on the 97 is right in the ballpark. I haven't followed prices on 89's.

I have been about to sell my 993TT about 3,987 times.

I wanted a P-Car almost as responsive as my 993TT but with a good A/C, easier to drive and comfy, so I bought a 997GT2... very nice car....but I ended up keeping the 993TT.

Then I felt that what I really wanted was a Classic needing some care, so then would be able to sell the 993TT, so I bought 911 '72 E ...yet I couldn't sell the 993TT.

Then got convinced that it was the lack of turbo punch in the classic that kept me from selling the 993TT, so I bought a 930 Cab to have a fun drive in an older classic.

But I still have the 993TT.

Buena suerte!!

I own a 1986 930S and 1996 993tt. although the 930S is modified with LOT's of RUSH and Power the 993tt is more docile to drive. Once I used the 930S as a daily driver for almost 4 months in a row w/o a problem. Let just drive our cars and enjoy.

Btw my next Porsche will be a GT3.
