Does anyone know what the 1996 Canadian retail selling price (base price) was? or better yet, does anyone have a Canadian Window Sticker?

 

I have a press kit from 96 but not sure if the price was in there will try to look tomorrow.

 

I think Ronnie had a posting about this a little while back. It was a lot more than the US. price.... close to double I believe.

 

I thought I saw some where the base price was around $157,000 Can. Does this sound about right?

 

I remember picking up my new C4S in January 1997 which was $ 116K msrp as I recall. Adjacent to it was anArena Red turbo delivered at the same time - which was of course my dream car - and thinking about how the msrp of $ 156,000.00 was so far out of reach - that is my recollection..

looked and can't find my press kit...I have to look again but not much free time these days.

 

My 1997 993TT was C$ 159,500.00 plus tax.

 

and even with a 2011 GT3rs 4.0 you are still hanging onto it.......

 

OK found the press kit from 96...but it only shows US price of $105k.
A friend gave me the kit and he may have gotten it from detroit. funny how when they list the options they only list about 15 choices...no sport seats for instance listed.
pretty cool press kit though...one day soon I will try to scan it for you guys.
sure enough it was in the folder with all my cars records etc, for some reason I thought I had it on a bookshelf in the basement.

Indeed, two very distinct P cars... IMHO.

 

My window sticker price is $109,794 US. Jeff Segal said they were around $170K in Canada but I talked to a guy who now has a Guards Red 993tt and payed $204K Canadian for one of the first ones in the country. I thought this was high but he says he still has the bill...........
