Default Thoughts on these 2 for sale

On the hunt again, hopefully this time I find one

Trying not to exceed $50k-I know hard to find a good one
Probably end up w/ a C2s, but man if I could swing a TT

This one was for sale here a while back

That black one has way more than $4k in upgrades according to his list, I'd go to $55k on that one. Very similar to my build.

Black one looks great for the mileage. 46k to 78kmi is quite a difference. You get to drive an extra 32k to get up to the mileage of the black one. Put 32k on the black one and you're at 110k. Something to think about...

Found out black one has been repainted, no hood sticker.

Love the black carpet. Wish all grey/tan interior cars were ordered that way.
So Clean and stays clean.

I'm partial to Arena Red, and love the Ruf wheels. Looks like the calipers are painted yellow (a nice touch). Both are worthy cars... both need a PPI and a peek at service records. Both look great.

It is interesting that the Black one has different exhaust tips and looks to be missing its chip guards in front of the rear wheels.

Also the rear tires look shot.

I actually like the interior color combo though!

I actually checked out the black one, it's got a lot of upgrades and topend has been freshened. I'd offer 50 on it.

My thoughts were that the paint would not be original on the black one and the same holds true of course for the wheels. The rear tires are shot apparently and I wonder about the front, the brakes and the rest of what we can't see plus the compression numbers. It appears from the photos that a nice detailing has be done. 81k miles and plenty of hard use and it is already on its second clutch. I wonder how much of the required service Topgear would do.

Seller said he has an offer for $55k.
He should take it knowing what he paid for it.
Even at $50 he's doing OK.

Seems like with all the upgrades on the Black car plus the top end being done that $50K would be a good deal, no? Also, wondering ... if the paint work is done correctly i.e. you can't tell it's been repainted except for the missing hood option sticker .. is that still a minus? It would certainly not be a Turbo you buy as an 'appreciating investment' but which ones really turn out to be that anyway .. how many owners here have sold their TT's for a profit after mod's/upgrades/maintenance costs were subtracted? Probably not a popular subject ..
