They're even using the same pictures (under engine / wheel well) for different listings...

Sounds like some shady dealing, using the same 2 pics on two different cars.

I have a question for you guys looking for 993TTs and are on the fine limit of your pocketbook. Would you consider a 996 TT instead of settling for a 993 non turbo? I mean right now the market on the 996 TT is just silly, Probably at least 10K cheaper than the 993 TT and there are some just over the top modded 996 TTs with all kinds of goodies for less than 50K from what I remember.
Just curious. I know I wouldnt mind scooping up a 996 TT, although We've already figured out the 997.2 3.8 PDK is faster than the 996 TT.

I could never do it. I think it's more like 20k over the price of a 996TT. I think at the end of the 993's run porsche lost its way. I understand for financial reasons, but small limited production run, brought with it hand built quality and exclusivity. I think the 996 and 997 are better cars in terms of numbers, but lacking in soul.

Agree 100%
You could buy any af these 993tt cars, do whatever you want, drive thepiss out of it and lose very little if any on resale.
Don't waste your money on a 996tt, they haven't seen the bottom yet, too many 997s around which are much better cars.
The 996 is the red headed stepchild of the Porsche world.
