Frank, who was a 1996, had his first gear replaced by the PO. (Sunday Driver)
I drove TwinsPops car and it had the sypmtoms of a tweaked 1st gear, buzzy vibration in the gear shift and some grinding.. ( I don't recall what year his was.)

My very fuzzy recollection was that Porsche wanted to post a really great 0-60 time for their brand new 993TT (this would be in 1995). They got Hurley Haywood, a 993TT (possibly Waldo), and brought a pile of 993TT transmissions to the track. They didn't quit until Hurley recorded the famous 3.6 sec 0-60 time.
