1998 is the last RoW production year. The car has been delivered to it's first owner by Porsche Hamburg. It came to Holland in 2007. I am the third owner and car has 112.000 kms (70.000 miles).

It looked great when I bought it but pictures were taken after I had the car detailed. Great result.

As to the CG stage 2 kit. It is also my understanding that the programming is from RS. I am having the work done in Holland at a company (Porsche specialist) that is dealer/importer for CG and Ruf.

And since that was in 1972, I'm afraid that's about as much (bad) Dutch as I can presently muster. But welcome anyway and enjoy the car. Are the Cargraphic power kits still based on RS-Tuning designs? I think you'll like that a lot.
Ik ben onder de indruk

CG supplies parts to RS-T, that is correct . Mapping is done at RS-T AFAIK.

It almost feels like I am on the Dutch Porsche forum. Bedankt voor de complimenten Viggo.

Anyone with CG stage 2 and/or PSS10s, would like to hear some first hand experiences. From what I have read on RL PSS10s is the way to go when upgrading suspension. Although not that many TTs around with CG motor tuning it seems (?)

So ... "niet zo slecht" means the same as "pretty good", right?

Our resident expert on all things RS is TB993tt, although MOD500 and LAT also have motors custom built by them. I do know that MOD500 is quite familiar with the CG bits as well. Lots of people here have PSS9/10's.

I am a bit confused I also thought other than the S the 993TT was 96/97. Was this car built in 98 or is it a 1998 993TT?

There are a few Rennlisters here (non USA) with 1998 build dates for their 993TT.

[QUOTE=Mark993TT;9098814]I have been reading RL for a while. But now owning a 1998 993TT since September 2010 it was due time for a quick introduction.

Don't mean to beat this to death -

I realize cars were buikt in1998. But this indicates it is a 1998TT, not a 1997TT buily in 1998.......

Hi Mike, not sure I understand you but mine was registered in April 1998 and has a 1998 VIN. That's why I referred to it as a 1998 993TT.

I'm not sure I understand me either. One once again - it is my understanding that the Porsche 993 TT (excluding the S) has two model years - the 1996TT and the 1997TT. I am assuming if I am correct then although your car may have a build in 1998 it is still a 1997TT...... it is a beautiful car no matter what year it is

Mike, his car is a 1998. Simple as that. Have you been drinking today?

I think we are getting on the same page now.

http://http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_993

Within the 993TT production range/years there were 2 different models (variants), the 95/96- and the 97/98 models. So in that respect mine is the (post) 1997 variant although it was built and registered in 1998. The literature still refers to it as a 1998 model(year). But in this case the 98 model doesn't differ from the 97 model.

Holland may be a very small country but windmills are almost as rare as black (1998) 993TTs in this part of the country. I will add that one to my 2012 project list.

Have not tracked the car. Not sure if I will. Love to read the track stories here on RL though. Have done Zandvoort in a 125cc 6sp seq. go kart, 100 miles per hour, 2inches from the tarmac, great fun. And of course the Nurnburgring, not to far away from here, always holds an epic appeal.
