I wimped out of the spray can job & had mine black powder coated along with all the engine sheet metal pieces, makes it all look a lot cleaner. Caliper red is an awesome colour to use though for the shroud.

Here's my shroud. Alois had it made, and I'm told was so proud of it he hung it in his office for serveral weeks while the car was being worked on.

Your shroud (and center exhaust) were the inspiration for me painting my shroud. Of course, I used a rattle can, being a cheap bastid.

I didn't take any pics before I fitted the panels , so they're not great but very pleased with the finish and it holds up well to the heat etc.
Next job will be to get the fan out and have it painted silver.

That looks great but I suspect the mesh over the engine air intake is robbing you of 50+bhp!

Default Shroud

Not sure about "50 HP", maybe 5. Had a guy chime in on my SS mesh, saying I was losing 25% (or more) of my intake air. If that was the case, I should have seen a spike in engine temps. Even at the track I rarely see temps above "9 o-clock". I agree that there may be some reduction in volume, but believe it's negligible. I surely don't notice any reduction in "oomph".
