FS: UMW Stage 2 ECU and Unused Rebuilt K16/26 Turbos
I am offering for sale UMW Stage 2 ECU and Tubos.
The ECU is fitted with the Immobilizer and is initially from a '96 993TT.
The turbos are unused, still in the UPS box, after UMW conversion/rebuild to K16/26 hybrids.
Essentially, this is the Stage 2 kit without the 130mm 100Cell Cats that could be easily sourced elsewhere.
The purchaser get the benefit of a cheap price and also gets to keep their original K16's and ECU in unmodified form, for any future use or refitting. Bear in mind that the usual pathway is to have your originals modified, from where backtracking can be difficult.
If you are interested send me a pm and I'll discuss pricing, bearing in mind sensitivities of the forum and sponsors. The Stage 2 kit previously was selling for well north of $10K. This will sell for significantly less.
The original ECU has the following sticker part numbers: Bosch 993.618.601.01 and Porsche 993.618.666.02
Malcolm.

Viggo,
I constantly prowl the carsales web sites here and have at times considered a 997 GT3 Series II or RS. The trouble is, that once you have been spoilt by ownership of a 993TT, the newer cars just leave you a litle cold. Mine is now back stock and still beats 80% of the 997 GT3 at the track (although the RS's do leave be watching that big rear wing pull further away!)
Seriously, the car is back in stock for classing purposes. With the power upgrade of the UMW Stage 2, I was classed in with GT3RS, GT2, and the modern turbos, and while straight line speed was compatible, the others, with 16 years of technology on their side, do go around the corners faster. So, in stock form, I get reclassed and am more of a contender. I want that club trophy on the mantle!

OK,
I'll ask - PM me Mal with a price - Maybe its time to finally do a few mods to my car...
Simon.
PS - I could swap you some Porsche Club NSW trophies... how many do you want?
