Hello all. What do you think would be the going rate for a 96 tt in Alpine White with special order "Flamenco Red" interior (it really is as bright as it sounds), 35k miles, all stock, no accidents, and with a PPI that checks out? Thanks for your thoughts.

Asking or actual sell price? Ok, I would venture some guesses.
Low miles, color combo not mainstream which limits the buy audience, but a solid car - Very good buy price $57K, Good deal $62K, OK deal $64K, too high $70K.
Of course, it does vary quite a bit with season, audience, desperation of the seller, etc, so the above guidelines are a guess, nothing more. Some people would ask $75,000 for that car, some much less.
I am sure there will other opinions as well... just take the average. :-)
Cheers,
Mike

When I was looking for my Turbo back in 2009, I PPI'd and almost bought a white/red 993TT from a doctor in Cincinnati. I was pretty jacked-up about the color combo. I think our Turbos can easily pull off some bolder & out-of-the-box color combos. Ultimately, I had to pass on the Cincinnati car, because it failed the early stages of the PPI (CEL's and SAI issues.....and 30,000 miles). I think the car went north to Canada.
Nalband, I think mid $60's would be a fair price with a clean PPI and documentation/history. When you say, "all stock" this leads me to think the suspension will need addressing and upgrading. This will cost you a few grand (suspension parts, labor, alignment and etc.). What about tires (another $2K)? Any highly desirable options (carbon, sport seats, alum gages)? Depending on some of your answers, the car could be closer to $70.
Before you purchase, spend a few weeks reading everything you can on Rennlist. And build an all cash "slush fund" for after the purchase sorting out process. I'd recommend at least 10% of the purchase price. 20% if you are very conservative. The last thing you want to be is Porsche rich and cash poor.
Plus, all of use here can help you spend it on all kinds of cool stuff.

My car, polar over red, is stunning at night under artificial light or florescent light - both interior and exterior.
I had a friend visit from Florida, probably one of the most OCD people I know with cars. This guy changed the whole dash out on one of his 2 MCoupes because it had a scratch, and he has a room in his house filled with parts - primarily interior parts. When he saw my car, he said, "That's not red, I don't like red. I'm calling this maroon or burgundy - I really like it [flamenco red]. And it's in perfect condition." The last part really surprised me, knowing how **** he is. That being said, it is in good condition, but the seats can really look like crap in pictures and impossible to get the true color - at least with my limited camera skills.
You really do have to want the red to live with it. The right color red interior can really spice up exterior colors such as silver, white, grey, and black.
