Billy Boat Mufflers any good for 993tt?

Question Billy Boat Mufflers any good for 993tt?
I did a search on this forum and not much info on whether the Billy Boat mufflers intended for a 993NA fit our cars or sound any good. What do you think?

I have a set on mine now, bad renosance at highway speeds, but sound good wot.

Had them in the past and resonance will drive you nuts.
Get the Fister mod done to yours.

i supposedly have Billy Boats on my 993TT. i don't have any resonance whatsoever. the sound is very nice and not too loud. i like it. i just hate the rectangular tips, it doesn't go with the car.

My friend put some billy boats mufflers on his C6. The resonance at 2k rpm drives me nuts, but does not seem to bother him. To each his own.

+1 for the resonance and tips. Maybe a bit louder than stock but I don't have any resonance. In fact, I am debating muffler bypass pipes so I can hear noise inside the cabin.

Looks to me like the Gundo Hack at about $200 is the most economical way to get a bit of troublefree sound enhancement..........

Don't see why Danny. It's just a pipe that diverts some exhaust from the muffler. The bigger the pipe, the more noise. I think I posted a picture of it on thid forum.
