Thanks! That proves the $45k comment was a flat out liberal smear. We can all do the math now, shipping & work I clearly stated = $64kish, car is worth more. Notice the comments in old link about under selling, the negheads on here should really try pounding some sand.Once again trying to see if any one here was interested, I'll pull post soon.

To Chime in, if Rare911s bought this Car for $45K and after 2 months of ownership wants to sell for $75K, thats his prerogative.

If he sells his car, someone will choose to pay $75K, he/she wont be forced at gun point to deposit $75K into rare911s bank account.

You guys are always too quick to blast people. Relax!

I was about to say the same as agent325, but the "pound sand" post changed my mind.

I've been in sales my whole career. Over 23 years. I don't think I've ever been taught, as the seller, to tell my potential buyers, to pound sand.

And all of this is why Pelican doesn't allow comments on their For Sale forum and why many people would never consider listing a car on RL.

I don't know what the big deal is. His price seems reasonable.

When it was for sale a few months ago, everyone seemed impressed by the car and the build. What's changed?

I'd consider it if I could.

Niiiiiice!!

Can i use that? - I like that saying

As for the car - its a nice open chq book build. The current owner bought it from the builder - who cares if its more or less than he paid? Its not misrepresented which i would be the most upset about.....

Chillax boys....

EDIT: How cool is that? Freds is for sale as well - so you could buy a SY or GR GT2 Clone - already done.... Man I wish i was in the US - I would have one of each colour It was only a few years ago that you would have dreamt about someone cutting a TT up to make a GT2 Clone - now they're a dime a dozen Should start a new thread on GT2 clones....

Thanks so much for the support! Plate is off car Pete, I took pics on way to MVD before sun started to set that day. Maybe now someone can look at this for what it is,a great car. Like I said when I got it, Pete was letting the car go for a great price to buy something else, we've all done it, I knew what I was spending when it got here, no big deal. I've been in sales in over 20 years as well, was only talking to the few here I've seen here just throw out Neg BS for no reason.

First off nice car. The"pound sand" comment may have been a bit much..but understandable. For the "$45k" comment. It would have been appropriate to ask first if the previous purchase price was in question. Not cool to assume that's what he paid. The asking price seems extremely fair.

To the OP out curiosity what else would it take to make it street able?

The location of your photo shoot looks familiar.... I seem to remember a SY 'Bob Holcombe' car being sold from the same location recently.

Ponzzzz's comment also seems negative.

Are you a dealer?

That was my car & it was a nightmare, Zytec engine management that no one could re-tune & OBD2 port was dead & could not pass emissions. A dealer bought it for a client in NY, lost a few $k on it. I'm not a dealer, I usually have 2 or 3 air cooled & sometimes impulsively buy, so I do sell a few a year. In Az we do not pay sales tax on private party deals, only if we buy from dealers, so that helps a lot, dealers want to much anyway.
