hostility?

I haven't found the right gallardo yet.

Doesn't change the fact that no one really says anything about the 993TT to me. Maybe your experience is different.

 

With the 4 day weekend, I did over 750 miles in the Boxster and Turbo. Got lots of waves and thumbs-up. One little old man came up to me in Starbucks to give compliments.

 

No hostility... I just think you'll enjoy it more. My experience has been a bit different. Since I relly only trailer my car and drive it on the track, I generally have not stopped a gas station where people do not ask about the car. & while at the track, most say they think its the best looking porsche ever built or comment how fast I went by them....

When I had my 993 Cab I never got a thumbs up. In the 993 turbo I regularly get thumps up while on the freeway. It may all depend on the area you are in. Los Angeles is very car conscious city (if that makes sense).

 

I swapped to a 996GT3 and the compliments totally dropped to almost nil..

 

I takes a BIG man to admit these kinds of things. Thanks for sharing.
