Thoughts on this 600+HP 993TT
http://www.chicagomotorcars.com/web/...linois/838169/
The car looks good, the mileage looks good, and price isn't bad. But I doubt the HP claims because all they describe is bigger turbos, sports cats/exhaust,and presumably an ECU upgrade. My prior 993TT had those mods and came up to about 475HP. A ruf modified 993TT claims 495HP. Even my prior Ruf 996 Rturbo only managed 550HP with bigger turbos, cats, ECU upgrade. Could 600HP+ be attained using some high octane fuel and overboost (which could deteriorate engine fast).
I'm trying to contact sales people for more specifics. But perhaps this car is known or discussed previously here. Would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks, Paul

Boost controller jobbie, i'd hate to think what boost they ran through that to make it post 600 on a chassis dyno.... Love the 'overtake boost button', very 'Knight Rider'... I'd give it a very wide birth, BS figures and fixed boost

the hp is bull****, especially with the stock IC.
the car looks pretty clean.
But what the hell is up with the oil temperature.
Pegged to the max on the gauge with the oil pressure at basically 1 bar.

Looks like the calipers have recently been painted/upgraded.

good find David.
Certainly seems to be running hot in the other listing too and oil pressure is in the basement.
Furthermore, they state the car has a free flow exhaust, but in the video it sure is quiet.
Finally, looks like it has the original-not orange top boost hoses.

Comments much appreciated, thank you. Sent a PM to seller, but no response. Unfortunately, things are smelling a tad fishy. Even a 3.8 twin plug Andial transformation doesn't produce 600HP but try telling a gadfly salesperson that. I'll update if/when I learn more.
