Default whats your build number?

After having someone question why my 96 was built in feb. 95 I got to wondering what the earliest 993tt in the US was.

My car is a TS (I.e. designated as a 96) and is build # 73. (Last three digits on vin).

Anybody have an earlier car?

Geeze man, yours is really old!
I might have a look when it comes back from the shop and see how much newer mine is. But mines also a 95 registered 96.

There was a build date list in a past 993 forum post.

HA! Is that a jab from a water-cooled guy?

Mine's a TS code #165. My car must have been on ^ that boat as well.

I've been looking unsuccessfully for an "ancient" air cooled machine myself , thence the little jealous jab...

Mine is a VS, #087, which makes me a very early 97, I reckon?

Waldo had a March 1995 build. The VIN is WPOAC2991TS375090. The first owner was PCNA, and I beiieve it was the Autoshow car that toured the US. Pretty similar number to 911headhunter... both end in 090. How does that work?

Rufus was built a year later March 1996, still a 1996 MY. The VIN is WPOAC2998TS376186. Does that mean it was the 1186th 993TT? How does that work, exactly.

Mine is a VS (1997) and a build number of 222. So about 1/3 the way into the 1997 production for the USA.

Interesting. My car is the one in the magazine and was first owned by Porsche Spain and used for the press tour. This magazine is from June 1995.
