Default I did this for nothing!!!!!!

I changed my slave cylinder and accumulator with my dad, to whom I am no longer speaking with, this weekend. It took me until today to finally bleed the system and drive around (Special thanks to 911/Q45 and Viperbob1). Guess what, the inconsistent clutch feel is still there.

I posted on here the conditions and searched the threads to find that I had common symptoms of a failed slave. My catch point would vary between normal 50% up from the floor to 90% up from the floor, I had pentosin overflowing from the front reservoir and the symptoms came up over night.

Since you Rennlist members told me to do this I am holding you all responsible and will be drafting up a Class Action Lawsuit against each and every member on thew 993TT board for damages that include:

Loss of knuckle skin
Damage to internal organs from Pentosin 11S ingestion
Loss of relationship with Father
Contributing to the delinquency of a minor (my 8, 6, 4 and 1yo heard some very colorful words)

You can gain amnesty from my multi-million dollar lawsuit by helping me decide the next steps in diagnosis of my issue.

The slave cylinder and accumulator on a Turbo uses Pentosin? I have not done one of these, but I thought usually clutch circuits were brake fluid territory......learn something every day! Thanks!

Well, before you get your class action filed, you may want to consider that you had multiple issues, which may have led to slave failure.

First, how are you sure the system is fully bled?

Also, whens the last time your pressure plate and disk were replaced?

Gadzooks. Lets reserve that PP & clutch disk as the last resort. The problem is that the clutch grabs at way different places... unnerving and hard to drive smoothly. The 993 is probably the last vehicle in the world that still uses floor mounted pedals (everyone else has long switched to hanging pedals). There are some reported instances of the bushings in the pedal assembly getting worn. Another scenario might see some sort of oddball failure in the clutch master cylinder so that it doesn't always push the same volume of fluid. I have no idea if this is probable or even possible. I'm not sure how a worn disk or PP could cause this symptom.

Make sure I get named in the suit. The idea of being famous is appealing.

oh yes El Guapo, I'd say he had a plethora of problems...

at the risk of being overly repetitive, bleed it again. If it hasn't been pressure bled... pressure bleed it

Removing the slave cylinder and bleed from the equation, it pretty much has to be either the master cylinder or a worn clutch... When was the last time either was replaced?

You may need to check and or replace the small "master cylinder" that resides above the pedal..
if this fails to get fully bled or won't come up to pressure you'll have a differing pedal every time..
Just saying your in there check it out,Bert
