Default check valves in turbo breather lines

Cargraphic in Germany appears to sell an alternative to the factory breather hose that come from the sumps from the turbos. See #2 under "Kit Oilsupply/Oilsuck" at http://www.cargraphic.com/index.php?...,1052/&start=3

And here's a picture:

What problem are these lines trying to solve?

Id imagine they are trying to prevent oil from the turbo sumps from ending up in the intake with the check valves.

Typically on NA cars, the breather or PCV system allows oil to pass from the valve covers to the intake, and a check valve, open air breathers, or a catch can are used to separate the oil and prevent it from entering the intake
