Thought I would share the news regarding the arrival of my new 2011 GT3RS.

I am not entirely certain, but I do believe it's could have a rear end that rivals the 993 Turbo.

It's keeping the TT company in the garage till the snow melts...

Nice Car! I followed a black/red GT3 RS from Pennsylvania to Chicago right after I bought my car in November. How do you compare the GT3 to the turbo, power wise, ride comfort and handling wise? I'm guessing the GT3 RS exhaust sounds much better.

 

A GT3, especially the RS, would be on the short list of cars that I might consider trading Rufus for.

LOVE the GT3 RS - Love the proportions. Would be all over one if I could find a more subltle rear wing that would maintain the aerodynamic stability of the factory one - just too obvious in my book - I recall that RUF had a modified ducktail for the older gen GT3, and I think it also had some other aero enhancements to go along with it. Nothing for the latter gen stuff tho.

 

The 993 TT is something special, something that they will never build for
The GT3 RS is a great Porsche,but one of many, with the new model get old very fast!

I like your choice of decals...deleting the writing on the fender.
also like the red gauges.
what is in front of the gt3?...old compressor?
you should lower your mitresaw and lock it in the down position...and don't even think of cutting anything with those beauties inside!

HP's are about the same, right..... 408 (turbo) vs 415 (GT3RS).

What about torque? I guess the Turbo has a little more.

It would be fun to see how they compare. Maybe some day.
