Default A few mods and pictures

Lots of new upgrades the past few months. Motons, Tarett monoballs, rebuilt brakes, rebuilt gearbox w goodies, gt2 splitter and tail. Ready for some shakedown time at Sebring this weekend. Hopefully all the $$ add up to time savings.

Looks great!

You will love the motons & monoballs. What spring rates did you go with?

How about the new gearbox?

I was running 400lb springs and 8 year bilstein rsr's on all 4 corners. Way too soft but it seemed to work pretty good at tracks like sebring and road america. Not so good at road atlanta. For the first step I went with 600 front and 800 rear with the new updated club sports. I considered 800/1000 but decided to take an incremental step first and see how it feels. I have run such a soft setup for so many years I was afraid to go too stiff on the springs right away. May go there later. Will see how it feels. I broke a shift fork at the the road atlanta club race so we went ahead and did the steel synchro's and billet shift forks and few other bits. Kept the stock gearing so its J class legal....although I was tempted to change them after being out pulled in some corners by I class 996's at Sebring this year. I'll continue to be the good boy scout racer!

The nice thing about motons is that you can increase the canister nitrogen pressures to effectively increase some spring rates if you have a nitrogen tank/source (I believe about 9lb per bar). This can also change your corner weighting. It can also make things more complicated by adding more variables but that's part of the fun.

VERY NICE! Nice bump up in almost every category...i sense it's going to be a fun track season for someone

For what its worth, I'm in the 800/1000 boat w/ stiffer sways and she behaves very nicely.

Car looks great!

Thanks...still like your looks better!! Maybe someday I'll go there and race with the GT boys and girls. Should be fun this year. I'm not sure how many races I will get to though. Sebring in February for sure. BTW, what's with all the track wheels you have for sale? Is that from your old set up, prior to the GT2 upgrades?

Sorry...I think I confused myself thinking you were Spartan. Although by now he has probably convinced you to follow his GT2 RSR path!!

I'm also running 600/800 but don't really see a reason to go higher since i drive on the street still and it works perfectly at the track

I have some forgelines for sale if anyone wants them
