I respectfully disagree. He stated it was OEM. It turns out not to be.
He appears to be clearing his conscience with "caveate emptor", the buyer was sophisticated, blah, blah, blah.
It's not like he said "I think it is OEM but I can't guarantee it."
Sure you can "rationalize" that what ever you can get away with is fine. It's not.
We should be better than that.
If I were the buyer and the seller did not do the right thing, I'd take him to small claims court.

Deadhead.... We, the jury of your Rennlist peers, hereby find in favor of the buyer. We recommend that you take the TT tail back and refund the money in full......

And I'm neither taking the buyer's or seller's sides
However, if the seller doesn't step up to the plate and do what's right, and not necessarily in other people's eyes, then my man has to live with his choices

Thank you all for your research and interest in this situation. I would like to report that deadhead1960 and I have resolved the issue amicably and that I can now believe he is not a scammer.
