Default Fun with a GT-R at ORP

Oregon Raceway Park is a hoot, and having some fun with a GT-R makes it even more fun!

pstoppani,
what suspension upgrades and tires were you running? Was the GT-R stock? Nice driving lines thanks for sharing.

My car has a PSS9 suspension with solid bushings, rear tilt kit, and camber plates. It is on Nitto NT-01s (245/305). My motor makes a conservative 550HP.

I don't know if the GT-R had any power upgrades. It has been lightened a bit (some gutting) with a half cage and race type seats and running on Hoosiers.

Great video clip. I wish I could drive like that. So smooth in and out of the corners.
It's just a VERY fast Nissan but I'm sure I saw it dropping a thousand dollar note after every corner

Yeah, I've had Motons in the past on an M3; they are over the top for me. I'm happy with the PSS9s; less ***** to fiddle with and screw up the suspension tune...

Yeah, well, those cones are there for the nubes. The group that organized the event uses "gates" for some turns to make sure people don't early apex. I hate them!

Pstoppani, please don't get me wrong, but deep down inside, as a Porsche owner and enthusiast, I wanted you to kick that Nissan's butt. But it didn't happen. What gives? Is the Nissan that "track worthy", were you not pushing it, driver skill level?? Just curious.

Regardless, you guys are out of my league!
