Default Turbo S wing...OEM or Aftermarket?

Guys,

I just bought a C4S that has a Turbo S wing on it. It was added by the previous owner and I plan to replace it with a standard decklid or a turbo wing. My questions is: Is this an OEM wing or aftermarket? And if it is aftermarket, does anyone have any idea who the manufacture is?

See attached pics...

thanks,

Mark

probably aftermarket since the P/N area does not clearly indicate Porsche logo and P/N, but maybe there is just a thick layer of paint over the #'s?

if it's real, you'll see this

OEM, but it looks to have been painted as the pn is illegible in your pics. All of the holes and shapes look identicle to mine. You are missing the alignment brackets with the little black rubber feet.
The one I just sold had a pn of
993.512.980.02
>UP-GM.30<
Here are some pics of the one I just sold:

From memory, it looks pretty close to me. I can check when I get home tonight and see if there are other distinguishing marks that might help, but if it's an aftermarket piece, it's a pretty good one...

Thanks for the input...and i'm thinking it is OEM now...see the 3 pic I posted of the little boxes...they are covered with paint, but I can make out a little upside down triangle with a word that looks like Porsche and on the left box, it looks like the first word on the bottom row is "UP", which matches the pic that cgfen posted.

any other input would be apprecaited.

thanks,

Mark
