Default EVO GT700 turbo

I got a pair of 996 turbo of his EVOMS gt700 kit. Can you guys tell me what wheel they put in? It looks like they stuffed a different wheel on a OEM K16 housing. Thanks

I though the GT700 used a Garrett based turbo not a KKK. Plus the GT700 kit requires oil line conversion adapters for the turbos. The kit was made for the 996TT not the 993TT. Good luck making this setup work properly.

Well what you have is the GT28 mounted into K16 housings. It does look like one of the turbochargers that you have is pushing oil. If you folks look at the lower picture you can see the added weld ring installed. The GT28 turbine wheel is alot smaller vs the stock K16. To add material to the inside diameter a ring had to be installed and then welded and then machined.

As already mentioned, these tubine housings will NOT fit the stock cats/exhaust due to the bolt pattern. This is 996TT only, unless you want to fab a new exhaust.

Kevin-- another question on the same topic-- are the usable apart from bolt pattern --ie if flanges were changed to match?
