Default Thoughts on this 993TT (Middle East)

This is from the person selling his Turbo:

The 993 is a 1996 Model in Arena Red with Grey Leather Interior, full service history and well maintained by us over the past few years it is one of the very first 993 Turbos ever produced and is a German specification car, originally delivered new in December 1994, it has now covered approximately 80,000kms.

(price: 60K US)

Thoughts/Comments?

This guy has a total of three different Turbos for sale; (posted on appropriate boards) this 993TT, 1994 965 3.6 and a 996TT (modified)....I'm leaning towards the 965 as it is a US DOT Spec, but the thought of driving the 993 for a year then shipping it off to RUF....Plus the 996TT is 20K cheaper...But modified.....

Anyway, any thoughts suggestions appreciated.

This car is serial number 70 if I recall correctly.. the first 50 from Germany were factory/dealer test cars, so it is indeed one of the first few.

The owner has spent a large amount of money in getting it perfect, I have driven this car several times, it is 100% stock and perfect.

PM me if you would like more details.

I believe they are 996 model wheels.

David - That is what I thought, too. Shouldn't those exhaust tips also tuck in a little better than they do in the photo?

Obviously wheels, pedals, shift ****, side sills and some other cosmetic changes are not stock, my bad, I meant the engine is not modified.

It's hard to tell. From a photo of my old car, at least at this angle, they appear to be consistent to the OP's photo.
