haha no upgraded turbos for this guy until i get my cams and rods in

I think the 24/18g is the best k24 based option out there now. Not my first choice by any means but good enough to keep around until they start leaking. Besides i'm waiting for wagongotya to install tials & get a custom tune first

What we can do is install AVCR and adjust your torque curve by varying boost. Using this method the torque curve will be flat and clipped in places to keep the rest of the motor safe. The 993tt shares the same rods as the 996tt. You are well below the safe limits. There are 2 local 993tt running the A30's getting 550whp on a mustang awd dyno. No internal work.

I don't get it. Your guys are getting 550 awhp with a flattened torque curve. Now don't quote me on this, but I think the UMW stage 3 kit makes "about" 550 fwhp with forged rods, solid lifters, cam and as much torque as Kevin can give it.

I don't really dyno race. My question is which car will get around the track faster for a 20 minute DE session?

Did this thread just go from a question to a sales pitch?

You talking to me? If so, no. I'm definitely not pushing anything. I want more power without spending Andial or UMW amounts of money. Kevin says that's not possible. MarinS4 seems to be saying different.

Sorry to be unclear Greg, I was referencing Marins4 who went from "How come" to "What we will do for you."

I got no skin in the game. Just an enthusiast that has been guilty of helping too much for free.

I know Spartan from the Audi days so I would be more than willing to help him cause he is a good dude. I have not worked in 9 months so a trip to hang with the SLW crew sounds good.

I want to see the 993tt progress at the same rate the 996tt does. I used K24 hybrids and loved them. I have been data logging cars lately as a favor to a local shop. In return I get lift time. It's win win for both of us. Having seen the results on the dyno and road I came here to share. This is not a sales pitch but a recommendation based on my experience.

I am not going to get get in a war with Kevin over this. I know what I saw for dyno sheets.

I also know the owner of SCARGO has the K24/super60 hybrids that put out 500whp. I think you run with him at the track so that will tell you right there 550 fwhp is possible with bolt ons. IIRC you told him you were amazed how fast his car is.

Whether Rob has 500 awhp I can't say. What I can say is that you make a great point: Rob's car has been proven on the track and is faster than mine and the only difference as far as I know is that he has different turbos and programming. So, evidently Kevin has left some power on the table. Hmmm. We may have to talk.

He drives harder than most. Here is a testament to how hard he is on the car. This is Thunderhill backwards over the crows nest.

This is not photochopped!!!

Tial A28's.These are Gt28's with Tial housings (to make bolt on) and billet compressor wheel.

Don't just take my word for it do your own research. If you go over to 6speed the 996tt guys have lots of installs. The general consensus is they spool like K16 hybrids yet pull the top end like K24 hybrids.

I love mine!

thanks. Now forgive my ignorance, but these turbos look water cooled.

Do they require a dedicated cooling system (i.e. tank up front, electric pump, lines to turbos, etc).

Also, what kinda power levels are you seeing with just some exhaust mods (sport cats and muffler deletes)
